This training provides an overview of restorative practices, introduces the restorative practices toolkit, explores restorative values and principles, examines emotional ranges, focuses in particular on dealing with anger and shame, and develops restorative language and concepts of fairness. It then goes on to look at optimum ways of relating to each other, setting high expectations of each other and offering high levels of support. It concludes with an introduction to restorative questions to address harm. At the end of training, participants should feel equipped and inspired to use restorative language and conversations in their working and everyday lives.
Duration 1 day for a minimum of 8 participants, comprising classroom training and reflective learning
